Robert R. Weisel has joined the Columbia Bank’s Commercial Banking Division as senior vice president and director of specialty lending. He will be based in Bellevue.

Weisel was most recently an executive vice president for Umpqua Bank with responsibility for commercial banking in western and central Washington. He also has served as the Puget Sound Regional Market President for Sterling Bank.
