Bah Humbug to thieves who stole lighted tree

My wife and I take great delight in this festive season and decorate our front yard with a lot of lights and ornaments. Judging from the comments of our neighbors, the visits from their children and the cars which stop to admire them, the lights give a lot of pleasure to a lot of people.

Our joy this year has been greatly tarnished when we awoke one morning to find that someone had stolen a lighted tree from our front yard. We only hope that this selfish act has caused at least a small pang of guilt for the offender. Is this another sign of the decline of our social morality?
