Regarding light rail in Bellevue, I would normally feel bad for those in the affected neighborhoods. But after all the crying and carrying on, not to mention that between the countless studies, meetings, staff time and more, the council has spent our taxpayer dollars on trying to placate the noisy minority, I am all out of empathy.

What you should be angry about is that you gave a ton of money and support to your council majority and they gave you promises they were quite aware they could not keep along with no exit strategy. I’d be (upset), too – but not at Sound Transit. In the immortal words of Ashton Kutcher, “You got punked!”
