Boycott effort may benefit Arizona

Far-left politicians rarely consider the long-term effects of laws they ram through just to gain votes for themselves. I doubt that our local lefties (and others around the country) who want to “punish” Arizona for their passage of a law which merely enforces existing laws gave any thought as to how many lower-paid workers could be laid off in that state’s tourism, hospitality and other businesses.

If their misguided boycotts have any impact, laid-off workers (especially illegal ones) who still want to work could likely immigrate to places like western Washington where political correctness trumps law enforcement.

On the other hand, since most Americans support the Arizona law, perhaps the boycotts will result in an economic boom for Arizona.

Either way, Arizona could benefit.
