Change needed on school board

I strongly believe the Bellevue School Board needs members who are good listeners and who are a little more in touch with what's "actually" happening at the individual school level.

I strongly believe the Bellevue School Board needs members who are good listeners and who are a little more in touch with what’s “actually” happening at the individual school level. Currently, only Christine Chew and Betsy Johnson have school-age children in the BSD.

Christine is the only one willing to communicate with the BEA about the “no confidence” vote. If the other four school board members are not willing to listen to school administrators, teachers and other staff members, parents attending school board meetings, or to even acknowledge the emails they receive, then HOW can the board members possibly assert that they are indeed in touch with what’s happening in the BSD today? Surely they can’t do that with a straight face.

It’s time for a change. Exercise your right to vote in November.
