Driving rules different here

The arrogance of ex-Californians to tell everyone else how to drive, LOL!

Will someone please get the LaBrue family a copy of the Washington State Drivers Manual and the RCWs? The arrogance of ex-Californians to tell everyone else how to drive, LOL!

Only in California must a person already on the roadway yield to the oncoming traffic. In Washington state, the person merging into traffic MUST YIELD and WAIT until safe to merge. That means STOPPING at the on-ramp and WAITING your turn.

This is true in most, if not all of the country. Again, only California enacted the different rule because their freeways were over-congested and no one would have gotten off the side streets otherwise.
