The state House of Representatives will now be deliberating on whether to radically change the way we elect our president by entering into the NPV (National Popular Vote) interstate compact-essentially doing away with the Electoral College and replacing it with a national popular vote (some call this the “electoral middle school”).
Legislators should Vote NO on SB 5599. The Electoral College should be kept. It has served us well for 200+ years.
