United
Now more than ever, it’s vital that we stand together in unity.
When we spend time together as a community, we develop understanding of each other while building and strengthening relationships.
Even more meaningful is working hand-in-hand to support those who are struggling to survive and thrive. To that end, Aldersgate Church is again inviting our Muslim community to join Mission Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on March 24, packing snacks for the Backpack Meals for Kids, making birthday kits, building Kits for Peace and park cleanup projects in Bellevue.
This collaboration emerged after I attended a community gathering at International School last year, after the second fire incident occurred at the vacant Bellevue mosque. I learned the mosque fire also meant losing a place to host activities that give back to the community.
Let’s work in partnership. Because we are stronger together.
