Yes, it is a terrible idea to place the light rail in the Mercer Slough Nature Park.
Also, it is not sensible to have the stations placed blocks and blocks from the major shopping
and dining areas. This plan would curb ridership greatly, especially during our wet winter months.
Yes, I agree it would be a “joy to view the fowl,” but it would indeed be a “foul” to implement this route.
Portland, Ore., has had light rail for years and there have been problems but overall it seems to be working for them.
