Those of you who know me know that I am an education advocate. If you don’t know me, I am someone who has spent the last 10 years raising money for the education of our children in our Issaquah community and advocating in Olympia for education reform. We now have the opportunity to elect a governor who lives and breathes making true education reform, and fully funding education in our state.

I personally interviewed both candidates and in those interviews, clearly Rob McKenna showed he has the education of our children as his top priority. We truly need education reform, as nearly one third of our high school students drop out before earning a high school diploma.

I am not a single-issue voter. Even though education is my top priority, there are other issues that are important to me. Rob McKenna will respect the voter-approved initiatives on a woman’s right to chose and marriage equality and he will implement the Affordable Care Act. McKenna also supports and believes in collective bargaining rights.

There are so many more reasons to vote for Rob McKenna! I hope you will join me in marking your ballot for Rob McKenna as the next Governor of the state of Washington.
