When the former CIA director John Brennan’s security clearance was rescinded by President Trump, there was an outcry, mainly from the left.
I have to admit that I do not know what the policy is. However, why would an individual, who now works in the private sector, be in need of top federal security clearance? Mr. Brennan says that he will not be silenced. His First Amendment rights are protected with or without his security clearance so I would say that his argument is not valid.
