Please don’t have the impression that because King County is an enclave of liberal snowflakes that everyone who lives here condones the idea of sanctuary cities. It’s about time that we enforce existing laws that federal and state law enforcement work together for the common good.

As a current business owner and a retired Coast Guard federal law enforcement officer that has served in San Diego working hand-in-hand as a part of ICE, let me tell you it was a mess down there. I’m all for legal immigration. I live in a modest home and pay taxes like no tomorrow. If this city wants to be classified as a sanctuary city, don’t come to me with higher taxes when our president pulls funding from the city. Follow the law or change it, stop whining and go to work. Pull the free cell phones Obama gave out and give everyone a lunch box.
