Just as Ronald Reagan hung the "Misery Index" of the total of unemployment and inflation around Jimmy Carter's neck, so should Mitt Romney pin the "Bankruptcy Welfare Index" on Barack Obama for the total of unemployment, the deficit as a percentage of GDP, and government spending as a percent of GDP.
