I hope fans have not missed one of the most admirable aspects of our Seattle Storm WNBA champions. The Storm team and coaching staff have treated us to a virtual feast of character, team play, dedication, modesty and hard work both on and off the court.

These champions have class, and that is just one of the reasons I have followed all of their exciting games. In every interview, the star of the day would credit her teammates with compliments. What a refreshing display in the midst of athletics, music and media that constantly bombard us with disrespect, profanities, selfishness and violence.

The Storm brought us sunshine to relieve our constant rain clouds. I hope they all return next year.
