I notice that $100,000 is being spent for signage for Lake Heights and Newport Hills. This article is right above an article about a summer feeding program which serves children. The program runs Monday-Friday.

Perhaps in this tough economic environment, it would be more important for the Bellevue City Council to donate that $100,000 and provide free meals on Saturday and Sunday.
