The Eastside Arts Education Fair comes to Crossroads Bellevue Mall on Saturday, April 25, with a day of dance, music, theater, heritage and visual arts.
The free event, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature a mix of hands-on workshops. live stage performances and information boots presented by artists and cultural groups.
Dance performances will include those from Rainier Ballet Academy, Ballet Bellevue and Emerald Ballet Theatre. There also will be an instrument petting zoo with Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra, songs from Cascadian Chorale, Pacific Sound Chorus, Spirit of Sound Singers and Lake Washington Singers. In addition, stage combat and music workshops with Studio East, treasure boxes from Eastside Heritage Center, throwing pottery on a wheel with Kirkland Arts Center and drawing/collage with Open Satellite and Bellevue Arts Museum, plus prize drawing with tickets and DVDs, Marta Zekan from KING FM, and clowns: Zero and Somebuddy.
