Martin Lawrence Galleries is bringing rare prints and paintings by Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Rembrandt, Salvador Dali and Joan Miró to its gallery at Bellevue Square.
The artwork begins at $2,500 and goes up to the low seven figures.
The exhibit will be on display through Nov. 30. There will be a reception on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 7-9 p.m. that will include a special presentation on the works at 8 p.m.

Lucille Berkowitz, of Bellevue, will exhibit her paintings in a show titled “Statements,” Dec. 6, 2008 through Jan. 17, 2009 at Pogacha of Bellevue, 119 106th Ave N.E. The exhibit is on display now at Pogacha of Issaquah, 120 N.W. Gilman Blvd.

4Culture has awarded grants to to three Bellevue groups under its Heritage Facilities and Arts Equipment Programs. Grants include:
$10,000 to the Bellevue Arts Museum for heating and air conditioning equipment;
$5,000 to Bellevue Youth Theatre for musical production equipment; and
$4,500 to Music Works Northwest for Studio B improvements.
Tickets for Seattle Opera’s 2009 Ring cycles are now on sale.
Cycle tickets range from $302 to $1,508 for the four-opera package, and are already on sale to Seattle Opera subscribers and donors of $100 or more to the Ring fund. Tickets for the 2005 cycle were sold out several months in advance, drawing operagoers from 49 states and 19 countries. Seattle Opera will present three full cycles of Wagner’s four-opera saga from August 9, 2009, through August 30, 2009.
