Margot Quan Knight of Bellevue is one of 13 new artists selected for 4Culture’s media gallery, E4C.

The gallery will present six, single-track video experiments by Knight entitled, Sur face. In this series she uses her face to address the materiality, fragility and impenetrability of an image’s surface.

For example, Sur face, (bubbles) shows Knight’s reflection on bubbles until they pop; Sur face (water) is Knight drinking her reflection in water until it is gone.

Artists working in all genres of media from across the country were invited to apply for this annual opportunity.
