The 6th Annual Bellevue Jazz Festival kicks off next week and is expected to bring a variety of talent – both locally and internationally – to the Eastside.
Taking place May 29 – June 2, this year’s festival will feature a number of lives performances in different venues around Bellevue. Both free performances and tickets events will take place throughout the weekend.
Ticketed shows include sets by Carlos Cascante y su Tumbao, Kendrick Scott Oracle and the Cyrus Chestnut Trio (with special guest Stefon Harris).
All ticketed shows will be held at the 410-seat Theatre at Meydenbauer Center and Bake’s Place, a live music and dining venue located at 155 108th Ave NE in Downtown Bellevue. Tickets for the headliners can be purchased online at bellevuejazz.com, by phone from Brown Paper Tickets at 800-838-3006 or at the Brown Paper Tickets box office at Meydenbauer Center on NE 6th Street between 110th Avenue NE and 112th Avenue NE in Downtown Bellevue.
In addition to the headlining performances, the festival will showcase regional jazz artists and the top school jazz bands from the Puget Sound area at free shows throughout the five-day festival. The full schedule of free shows can be viewed below (*venue is 21 and older):
