A new water-saving toilet is good, but how do you decide which one would be best?
The National Association of Home Builders recently tested 49 popular low-flow toilets for operational efficiency. They created a flush-performance index with numerical ratings for removal of solids and “clog potential.”
The result? While some were star performers, others didn’t measure up as far as flushing goes. Check out “www.savingwater.org” and click on “toilet test ranking” for performance stats on all 49 models and a list of top performers under $100.
