Comedian Louie Anderson to headline show at Hyatt Regency Bellevue

Parlor Live Comedy Club and the Hyatt Regency Bellevue will hold a one-night only concert series with stand-up comedy legend Louie Anderson and young, cutting-edge comic Kyle Cease at the new Hyatt Regency Grand Ballroom at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20.

Two-time Emmy award winner Anderson is one of the country’s most recognized comics and was named by Comedy Central, “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time.” Currently he is headlining his own Las Vegas show, “Louie-Larger Than Life” at the Excalibur Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.

He also has stared as a host of the popular television show, “Family Feud” and his role in the blockbuster films, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Coming To America” opposite Eddie Murphy.

After appearing on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” Anderson went on to a successful career in television, starring in his own CBS series, “The Louie Show” as well as comedy specials for HBO and Showtime. Anderson has guest starred on such hit television sitcoms and dramas as “Scrubs,” “Grace Under Fire,” “Touched by an Angel” and “Chicago Hope.” He is also the best selling author of, Dear Dad-Letters From An Adult Child.

Anderson is bringing his long running theatre show to Bellevue for the inaugural Parlor Concert Series at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue’s new 1,600 seat theatre.

Performing alongside Anderson will be comedian and actor, Kyle Cease. Cease was recently honored by viewers with the #1 Comedy Central Special of 2009 and was the winner of the 2009 Comedy Central Stand-up Showdown.

He is considered one of the biggest up and coming comedians in the country. He played Bogie “The Slow Clap Guy” Lowenstien from the hit feature film, “10 Things I Hate About You.”

In addition, Anderson and Cease will be bringing their nationally acclaimed two-day interactive stand-up comedy seminar called, Stand-up Boot Camp to the Parlor Live Comedy Club while they are in town. The goal of the seminar is to provide local aspiring and established comedians an opportunity to hone their on-stage presence and voice while being coached technique by some of the best in the business. The seminar sells-out nationally and is a favorite of comedians, actors and business leaders alike.
