Former Sublime bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh have teamed up with vocalist and guitarist Rome Ramirez to play the ska punk / hip hop blend that Sublime was famous for under original band member Brad Nowell, who died in 1996.

Sublime with Rome is working on their debut album, which is currently scheduled for release next year.

Opening for Sublime with Rome are The Dirtyheads, whose ska-tinged sound has earned them kudos from Rolling Stone magazine.
