The second annual ‘Designer Mutt Match’ dog adoption event will give people a chance to meet Shepadors, Labweilers, Sperriers and other dogs and puppies from across the state in one location.
The event will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 8 at the Academy of Canine Behavior in Bothell.
More than 70 families adopted dogs last year.
More than 80 dogs and puppies of all different shapes, sizes, ages and breeds from eight animal rescue organizations will be onsite available for adoption.
All dogs will be spayed or neutered. Also, the dogs come with a money back guarantee and are always welcome back at the shelter or rescue for any reason if it’s not a right fit for a family.
Experienced shelter staff, volunteers and trainers will be on hand to help match dogs and families.
The trainers will be available to answer questions about any dog and shelter staff has evaluated each dog’s behavior and temperament. Adoption fees range from $150 to $250.
