Designer and author Rosanna Bowles will be at Common Folk Co. on Saturday, June 26 for an afternoon of design.

Bowles will be at the store from noon to 2 p.m. to sign copies of her first book, Coming Home: A Seasonal Guide to Creating Family Traditions. She also will provide tips for outdoor entertaining, get tabletop ideas, and shop Common Folk’s selection of Fourth of July items. Light Hors D’oeuvres will be served.

Since beginning her successful dishware company in 1982, Bowles has received a number of awards internationally for her designs, including the Gift of the Year Award in the UK, recognizing excellence in the giftware industry. Her designs have been highlighted in the New York Times, Country Living, Family Circle, O Magazine, Real Simple, Harper’s Bazaar, and other publications. She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest.
