Six Northwest singers will entertain dining patrons at the Calabrisella Ristorante Italiano in Kirkland on Jan. 10.
Two shows are planned at 5:30 and 7:15 p.m. Reservations are required by calling the restaurant after 4 p.m. daily at 425-822-7350 and choosing the first or second dining. Arrival time for the first show is 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. for the second show. There is seating for 175 dining patrons per show.
Featured on the program of Italian arias, duets and musical theater selections are Northwest
District Metropolitan Opera auditioners are lyric sopranos Megan Chenovick and Rebekah McHugh, soprano Sarah Fletcher, bass-baritone Daniel Oakden, tenor John Rutherford and lyric baritone Ryan Bede.
Among operas that arias will be performed are “Marriage of Figaro,” “La Boheme,” “Barber of Seville,” “Edgar,” “Cosi Fan Tutte” and “Elixir of Love.” Musical theater selections will include songs from “West Side Story,” “South Pacific,” “Les Miserables,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “My Fair Lady” and “Showboat.
The show is produced and coordinated by Richard Engstrom of Bellevue, an executive board member of the Seattle Opera Guild Association and Lyric Opera Northwest.
Calabrisella Ristorante Italiano is located at 132 Lake St. S., Kirkland.
