Fur, shades of oxblood and accessories seemed to be the main topics at Friday’s press-only Introduction to Fashion 2012, hosted by style expert, TV host and author Lawrence Zarian and Vogue’s Anne Vincent Friday afternoon.
The event, which took place at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue served as a preview for tomorrow’s Fashion Forecast with Lawrence Zarian, at Bellevue Square. In addition to discussing some of the hottest trends in stores this fall, the pair discussed dressing for you body – a key point being to buy clothes for what you look like now, not what you want to look like ideally – as well as finding the look for less.
“I think it’s very doable,” Vincent said in regard to finding high fashion looks at more affordable price points.
She added it is important to assess your closet before going shopping to ensure you are looking for items you need in your wardrobe, rather than duplicating what you already have (in every shade).
“You’d be amazed by how far you can extend your wardrobe by investing in three of four pieces,” Zarian added.
For more advice from the fashionable duo, be sure to check out the Fashion Forecast, taking place at 1 p.m. at the Center Court at Bellevue Square. The event is free and open to the public. The event will also include giveaways and prizes from Vogue and select Bellevue Collection stores.
