On Saturday, September 29, fashionistas from the Eastside and beyond flocked to the Hyatt Regency Bellevue to witness this year’s Front Row Fashion Show, presented by Vogue.
This year’s show, which benefitted the Moyer Foundation, was once again hosted by Vogue’s Anne Vincent and TV personality, Style Expert and Author Lawrence Zarian.
Showcasing some of the falls hottest trends, the Front Row Fashion Show featured clothes available in stores within the Bellevue Collection – including selections from Eileen Fisher, Banana Republic, Vince, Hugo Boss and more.
This year’s runway featured seven different categories: Layer Logic, Sport Chic, Power Play, Bold and Beautiful, Urban Mix, Coast Crusade and Show Stoppers.
Special to this year’s show was a dress by Carole McClellan, who was the winner of the inaugural Independent Designer Runway Show, which kicked off fashion week on Thursday, Sept. 27.
Keeping with trends explained by Vincent and Zarian before the show, the models wore a number of pieces in this fall’s “hot color” – ox blood.
Other trends seen on the runway included statement necklaces, over-sized, slouchy bags and leather gloves.
On the male models, Hugo Boss seemed to be the theme of the night: fitted suits, sporty fabrics like nylon and neoprene and pops of color that combined to make looks both comfortable and chic.
