Three-year-old Jacob Revels laughed as he played with a toy Menorah at a Kindering Center classroom in Bellevue during the annual multi-cultural celebration. Down the hall, Harmony Gass wore a red-plaid holiday dress as she climbed on Santa’s lap for her photo moment.

The hallways filled with smiling kids as they made their way from room to room to celebrate the various cultural holiday celebrations including; Christmas, Chanukah, Diwali, Dia De Los Reyes, Eid, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstace, Chinese New Year and Japanese New Years. Kindering Center employees and parent volunteers helped to put on this year’s holiday party.

After sampling the traditional foods of each celebration and spending time doing arts and crafts, the kids joined together for a holiday sing-along.

Kindering Center is a nonprofit neurodevelopmental center for children with special needs ages birth to three, works with infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities.

More than 50 languages are represented at the Kindering Center, now serving well over 3,000 children and their families each year.
