Hot new fashions for spring will be on display at Macy’s Bellevue on Saturday as its launches Matthew Williamson for Impulse and Bar III. The 1-3 p.m. event will include informal modeling, live music and light refreshments.
Williamson’s signature bohemian style with his mix of bold prints, luxurious fabrics and vivid color will be on display. Also, Bar III will show dresses, great fitting fashion pants, tee’s tanks and more.
The fashions will show on the store’s Level 2.
Williamson began his career working freelance for Marni. From there, he worked for British design houses such as Monsoon and Accessorize.
In 1997, Matthew Williamson, the namesake luxury brand was born, debuting the first collection that September during London Fashion Week. In 2002, Williamson expanded into the United States, showing his fall collection during New York Fashion Week. Williamson has since opened flagship stores in London and New York.
BAR III launched in Macy’s stores in February 2010 and serves as the impulse department anchor.
