Newport High to host jazz festival March 20

Newport High School will host jazz bands from Bellingham to Olympia on March 20 as part of the Second Annual Newport High School Jazz Festival.

The event begins at 8 a.m. with an evening awards concert featuring the top three bands and the Newport High School Jazz 1 band with a guest artist.

The event is free and open to the public, but a donation is suggested.
