Newport High School will present Little Shop of Horrors from May 27-29.

The play tells the story of a nerdy florist assistant named Seymour who stumbles across a new plant he decides to name the Audrey II, after his secret love. Unfortunately, Audrey II no normal plant – it likes blood.

The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday.

Tickets are $6 to $8. The school is located at 4333 Factoria Blvd.
