Bellevue’s Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park series is back, bringing eight family flicks to Downtown Park after dark from July 1 to Aug. 19.
Each movie will begin at dusk, at approximately 8:45 p.m. In case of rain, the viewing will relocate to the South Bellevue Community Center.
Inome organizes the summer movie series. Each viewing will accept donations for a particular local nonprofit.
This summer’s movies and their associated nonprofits are:
- July 1: “Despicable Me 2,” benefitting Kindering
- July 8: “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters,” benefitting Treehouse
- July 15: “Epic,” benefitting Young Women Empowered
- July 22: “Mr. Peabody and Sherman,” benefitting Jubilee R.E.A.C.H.
- July 29: “The Lego Movie,” benefitting Bellevue LifeSpring
- August 5: “Gravity,” The Sophia Way
- August 12: “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue
- August 19: “42,” benefitting YouthCare
In August, further movies, sponsored by Crossroads Shopping Center, will play Thursdays at Crossroads International Park.
