Youth Theatre Northwest will present an original adaptation and the Northwest premiere of The Adventures of Pinocchio beginning May 21 through June 6.

The story of a puppet on a quest to become a real boy is based on the story by Carlo Collodi and adapted by Gillian Jorgensen.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays with matinee performances at 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

All performances will be held at Youth Theatre Northwest, 8805 SE 40th St., Mercer Island.

The play is best appreciated by audiences ages three and up.

Tickets $17 for adults and $15 for youth/seniors for the May 21 Opening Night Gala (which includes an intermission dessert). All other performances are $15 for adults and $13 for youth/seniors.
