Andrew Gu wins international piano competition

Andrew Gu of Bellevue, a second grade student at Somerset Elementary School, has won the first prize for Age Group 1 in the Grotrian-Steinweg International Piano Competition in Braunschweig (Brunswick), Germany.

Andrew Gu of Bellevue, a second grade student at Somerset Elementary School, has won the first prize for Age Group 1 in the Grotrian-Steinweg International Piano Competition in Braunschweig (Brunswick), Germany. The competition is for young pianists worldwide. He appeared at the Winner’s Concert on Jan. 11 at the Braunschweig City Treater.
