The Bellevue School District filed its application to demolish the current Enatai Elementary School in order to build the proposed 93,849-square-foot two-story facility.
If approved, the new school would hosts 32 early learning, primary and intermediate teaching stations in two connected buildings, providing better learning opportunities and safer conditions for student and staff.
Parking will be increased to a minimum of 104 vehicles and neighborhood traffic patterns will be altered with the separation of bus service and drop-off lanes.
The existing play field will be relocated and replaced with a synthetic multi-purpose field, according to the application.
Public input into the project has been mainly positive. Any appeals to the application has to be submitted by 5 p.m. March 12.
For more information about the appeals process contact Development Services at City Hall or call 425-452-4570.
