Aya Mears wins scholarships

Aya Mears, a student at Sammamish High School, was awarded the $2,500 Miller Hull scholarship and the $1,500 ACE Professionals scholarship.

Aya Mears, a student at Sammamish High School, was awarded the $2,500 Miller Hull scholarship and the $1,500 ACE Professionals scholarship. Aya welcomes and mentors freshmen through LINK Crew and served as class President for two consecutive years.

She has devoted herself to community involvement through the National Honor Society, receiving the Presidential Community Service Award.  She plans to plans to pursue a degree in architecture.
