Beaux Arts residents get one more chance to seek office

King County Elections will hold a special, three-day candidate filing period beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 and ending at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9. No candidates filed for Council Position No. 1 and No. 5 in Beaux Arts.

Residents of Beaux Arts will get one more chance to file for two council positions.

King County Elections will hold a special, three-day candidate filing period beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 and ending at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.

No candidates filed for Council Position No. 1 and No. 5 in Beaux Arts.

Candidates who wish to file must complete a declaration of candidacy in person at King County Elections, 919 SW Grady Way, Renton.

Candidates who file will appear on the Nov. 5 general election ballot. There are no filing fees for these positions.
