Bellevue accepting comprehensive plan amendment applications

Would you like to see a change in Bellevue’s land use, development or growth policies? People have until Feb. 1 to apply for an amendment to the city’s comprehensive plan, which guides the nature and intensity of development in Bellevue.

Except in emergencies, the City Council considers amendments to the comprehensive plan once a year. The city began accepting amendment applications on Dec. 1. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1.

Plan amendments are legislative acts with broad public participation and discussion, including public hearings before the Planning Commission.

Application materials can be found at Permit Processing in the Development Services Center at City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE, or online.
