The workshops include:
Networking & the Hidden Job Market: Tuesday, Oct. 20, 10:30-11:20 a.m. More than 60 percent of all job openings are not advertised. This workshop teaches how networking strategies can help you find them.
Do More Than Survive; Make a Difference through Your Work: Thursday, Oct. 22, 10:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m. This workshop explores ways you can make a difference in your current or future life and work, including sustainable careers.
Salary Negotiation: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 12:30-2 p.m.
Learn non-confrontational strategies that can add significant money to your lifetime career earnings.
Are You LinkedIn? Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1:30-2:20 p.m. This workshop covers what recruiters say about LinkedIn and how job-seekers can use it to generate more interest.
Cover Letter Review. Thursday, Nov. 5, 10:30-11:20 a.m. Take this workshop to learn about cover letters, letters of inquiry and self-marketing letters and how to use them to be more competitive in the job market.
