The annual South China Restaurant fundraising dinner to benefit the Kin On Health Care Center of Kin On will be held from 4:30-9 p.m. Monday, April 6 at The South China Restaurant in Bellevue.
For more than 20 years, the annual fundraising dinners have provided major support and commitment for Kin On, the Seattle Chinese community’s health care organization.
The continuing sponsorship by the Perry Ko family members and the dedication of Kin On volunteers have resulted in raising a total of nearly $200,000 over the years to provide ongoing support for the Kin On programs.
The Kin On organization is also celebrating more than 23 years of providing health care services and programs to the Chinese community. It began in 1987 with a small 63-bed nursing home which it outgrew within a few years and in 1996 opened a new $11 million, 100-bed, state of the art, nursing home facility.
Tickets are $15 and are available at the Kin On Community Health Care Office in Chinatown: 815 S. Weller St., Suite 212, Seattle, WA 98104 (the Eng Family Association Plaza), 206.652.2330 and the Kin On Health Care Center at 4416 S. Brandon St., Seattle, WA 98118, 206.721-3630.
