Bellevue man arrested for DUI, hit-and-run

A 50-year-old Bellevue man allegedly fled the scene of an accident along with an intoxicated passenger after driving under the influence and rear-ending a vehicle. A breath test indicated the man had a blood-alcohol level of 0.326, or four times the legal limit, according to the State Patrol. The incident occurred on northbound Interstate 405 at Coal Creek Parkway. The driver and passenger both fled the scene on foot, but didn't get very far "due to their high intoxication levels."
