Bellevue man arrested in DUI case

A Bellevue man learned the lesson of having too much to drink. You can run from the police, but you may not get far.

The Washington State Patrol said the man read-ended a vehicle, attempted to drive away and finally fled on foot when his vehicle broke down.

The WSP said the man’s blood-alcohol level was 0.326, or four times the legal limit. He was arrested for driving under the influence and hit-and-run.

The incident occurred around noon Tuesday, Aug. 17 on Interstate 405 at Coal Creek Parkway.
