An open house to discuss tolling across Lake Washington will be held from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 at Bellevue City Hall.
The open house will be one of three for the public following the release of the the 520 Tolling Implementation Committee results of its second round of evaluation of tolls across Lake Washington. That meeting is set for Nov. 10 at Redmond City Hall.
The evaluation includes examples to illustrate and compare different toll rates on factors such as bridge funding potential, traffic speeds, diversion and transit use. The information being presented will be the basis for a new round of public comment on different approaches to tolling.
The Redmond meeting will be from 3-5 p.m. Redmond City Hall is located at 15670 NE 85th Street, Redmond.
At that meeting, the Tolling Implementation Committee will review new scenarios with sample tolls rates, revenue estimates, travel speeds and travel impacts.
Additional information is on the web at: www.build520.org. People interested in 520 tolling can learn more about what is under discussion and provide their feedback to the committee.
