Bellevue police arrest more car prowl suspects

Bellevue police arrested two more in connection with a large scale car prowl ring.

The arrests on Wednesday came after Bellevue SWAT team members served a search warrant in the 9600 block of South 252nd Street in Kent. They arrested a 28-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man who was wanted for an unrelated robbery and an assault case in King County. Those arrests bring the total count of suspects arrested to 14 in the “Operation Radcliffe” investigation, which has been targeting car prowlers in local parks.

Investigators also seized a purple Glock handgun.

Police expect to make additional arrests and state, “The Bellevue Police Department takes these crimes seriously, and is committed to bringing those who choose to target this city to justice,” according to their Bellevue Beat Blog.
