Bellevue police make more massage parlor busts

Continuing its effort to clean up massage parlors throughout the city, Bellevue police made four more arrests in raids.

Continuing its effort to clean up massage parlors throughout the city, Bellevue police made four more arrests in raids.

Undercover detectives infiltrated two spas, and made a total of four arrests, with charges ranging from massage without a license to prostitution. The first spa is located in the area of Bellevue Way and Main Street; the second is located in the 16400 block of Northeast Eighth Street.

Thus far, the Bellevue Police Vice Unit has made over 55 arrests for various violations, closed 12 spas, and continues to move forward to bring all spas within the city of Bellevue into compliance with state laws and regulations.

These raids were conducted with assistance from the Department of Health, as well as the Department of Homeland Security.

Bellevue police is working closely with the property management companies to facilitate the eviction of spas offering illegal services. These investigations are on-going.
