Shannon Heric, a Bellevue resident who graduated from Eastside Catholic in June, has had two of her pieces of art selected by Swedish Hospital for its new Issaquah campus.
The art will be part of a permanent installation in the hospital’s emergency room area.
Heric is headed to Washington State University in the fall.
On Jan. 8, education leaders and PTAs from Mercer Island, Renton, Bellevue, Issaquah and Lake Washington will discuss shortfalls in educational funding from the state.
The legislation will ease expenses for businesses and homeowners.
