Bellevue resident to be honored at congressional hearing

Brendan O’Neill of Bellevue will be honored Wednesday in Washington, D.C., prior to a congressional briefing on how people with significant disabilities can be employed.

Brendan O’Neill of Bellevue will be honored Wednesday in Washington, D.C., prior to a congressional briefing on how people with significant disabilities can be employed.

O’Neill is supported by Trillium, a supported employment provider in South King County, and has worked as a mail courier at Valley Medical Center in Renton for the past 16 years. The United States Department of Labor will post the video on its national web site and is premiering the video at the Congressional briefing.

O’Neill and his parents will be present for the event in Washington D.C.
