Bellevue Schools Foundation adds nine to board

Bellevue Schools Foundation’s Board of Trustees recently announced the appointment of nine new members, bringing the total to 32.

“It is so encouraging to see people invest themselves with such enthusiasm and commitment to assuring every one of Bellevue’s students has the best-possible public education,” said Executive Director Roxanne Kröon Shepherd.

Trustees are volunteers and serve three-year terms, up to a total of nine years. The new trustees began their service in September.

“This new group of trustees joins veterans who set the bar high for personal involvement in our work,” Shepherd said. “And today’s volunteer leaders carry on traditions of thoughtful stewardship and unerring focus on making meaningful impacts on students’ opportunities to build positive and productive lives. We are enormously grateful for 35 years of exceptional volunteer leadership.”
