Bellevue’s famous strawberry festival returns to Crossroads Park this weekend, sure to bring tons of the juicy berry and smiles.
The Bellevue Strawberry Festival kicks off Saturday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and continues Sunday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
More than 100 vendor booths, entertainment on the BECU Main Stage and hands-on history activities from the Eastside Heritage Center will keep attendees busy after filling up on strawberries. The event will feature the Republic Services family fun area, truck and Jeep show Saturday and GEICO auto show Sunday as well as an area for kids and adults alike to get up close to construction equipment thanks to GLY Construction and Northwest Construction, Inc.
And ,of course, what would the Bellevue Strawberry Festival be without strawberry shortcake eating contests with prizes?
To get to the festival, free parking and a shuttle bus will run every 15 minutes from Highland Middle School and Sherwood Forest Elementary. Public transit is also encouraged.
