Bellevue to offer walking tours of downtown

City of Bellevue staff will hold walking tours of downtown on April 27 and May 1. The tours are part of the city's ongoing Downtown Livability Initiative. Staff is seeking public input as part of the update to the city's Land Use Code.

 

City of Bellevue staff will hold walking tours of downtown on April 27 and May 1. The tours are part of the city’s ongoing Downtown Livability Initiative. Staff is seeking public input as part of the update to the city’s Land Use Code.

The tours will begin at 9 a.m. both days and will will explore the evolution of downtown as a place for jobs, residents and visitors – highlighting some of the emerging neighborhoods, public gathering spaces and future development opportunities there. Walkers may choose from a north or south walking route on either day.

The walking tours are open to the public, last two and a half hours and include a stop for coffee and conversation. The tours meet at City Hall plaza, outside entrance, 450 110th Ave. NE. The walks will go on rain or shine.
